Trying to sit up, he lost his balance a little. It was no surprise, for when he looked slightly to his left, all he found was the stump of his amputated left arm. Good, he thought. At least the doctors here weren’t totally incapable. If they waited for Ratio to wake up before deciding to amputate his arm, who was to say that its blackened, corrosive state—not unlike the tar that insect spat up—wouldn’t travel upwards and infect his whole body? It was the logical thing to do.
Ratio made a choice and lost an arm for his troubles. This will impact his life moving forward, but not all the consequences are detrimental. At least not if Screwllum has anything to say about it.

Aventurine found out that the young, handsome captain of the Silvermane Guard has taken a certain kind of liking to him. A stroke of luck; another chip to be played on the board.
Naturally, he goes on to seduce him. Nothing new over here, just another card to play in this game.

So aliens may have invaded the earth a few decades ago, but now they're just another occupant of the earth. Life goes on, even if the people you might meet on the street aren't all homo sapiens. But who cares about that? There are jobs to go to and, in Ratio's case, people to sing and dance to. In this day and age, nobody would bat an eye whether he dates a foxian hybrid or an inorganic android or anything else. Putting aside the fact that his boyfriend of 10 years really is an alien android. Perhaps public interest might be stirred if they know his partner is Screwllum, old money of the inorganic alien community, but well. That's not anybody's concern right now.
What is a concern right now though, Ratio thinks, is this glowing lightstick in his hand. Ratio's representative color since debut has been indigo purple, which means that the lighstick his dedicated fans—especially his boyfriend—has must be an indigo lightstick.
So what the hell is this silver lightstick doing in Screwllum's workshop?

Blade’s recent mission from Elio found him near the Xianzhou Alliance’s ships. It was supposed to only be a minor script, one he could coast through with his eyes closed. Except on the way back, a sudden meteor shower rammed his ship before he could warp away.
He crash-landed on what he predicted—from distant memory—to be the Xianzhou Yaoqing.
What he couldn’t have predicted was the foxian man who greeted him.
