Eddie coughs and pouts and wilts at the effort of standing upright for more than five minutes. “Not sure I could swallow them anyway.”
Concerned frown pulling the corners of his mouth down, Buck releases the bowl and steps closer. “You okay? You should get back to bed.”
Eddie shakes his head, hitching the blanket higher on his shoulders.
