Summary
Tom Paris practically grew up on the old Janeway farm with the Janeway siblings. He considered them the family he never had, they certainly seemed to care more about him than his own father. Back then he didn't think anything could keep them apart, but of course things aren't that easy. Several years pass, he gets kicked out of Starfleet, Edward Janeway dies, something happens to Kathryn, Tom accepted that he'd never be reaccepted into the family he chose to abandon. The universe is funny though, and things are never that easy.
