Sure, Pandora was Danny's combat instructor, but that did not mean he wanted to deal with another world of supernatural bs. Summary
Throughout five seasons and sixty-five episodes, we - and therefore Merlin - never once heard the actual prophecy that guided, led, and dragged our characters to their ends. There were quotes and excerpts, cliff notes and summaries, but never once the prophecy itself.
Merlin stood by Arthur’s side for more than a decade, working toward their shared future without ever once hearing the prophecy that foretold it.
