Summary
Eddie’s going to die.
This isn’t just some existential thought about how we’re all going to die, he’s literally about to die, he’s going to be offed by this feral pack of fucking demon dogs, and all he can think about is the fact that no one is going to write a song about it all. What a fucking shame.

Summary
In May’s defense, she totally did not mean to turn it into a whole thing. She just hadn’t been ready to talk about it at first, and now that she is ready to talk about it, she’s having too much fun not talking about it to stop. The operative ‘it’ being: she’s in love with Ravi, Ravi is in love with her, and absolutely nobody knows.

Summary
When he looked up, Eddie’s eyes were bright, focused. He was a little flushed, and his shoulders were soft but his jaw was set. “I love you,” he said.
“I love you, too, man,” Buck said. “But you know what I mean.”
“I do know,” Eddie said. “Buck, I’m trying to tell you something.”Bookmarked by bethersonton

Summary
“You never, ever hurt me, Eddie,” Buck whispers, so soft that he has to lean in so he can hear her.
“What?” He’s half-disbelieving, half-processing too fucking slowly.
Another long, slow breath. Then she rolls, Eddie instinctively turning away before he realizes she’s keeping herself tucked in and covered, but looking at him with her gorgeous blue eyes and an expression so sweet and open that he wants to hold her in his arms more than anything on earth.
“I said,” she says, holding eye contact in a way that’s defiant and a little bit of something else he can’t identify, “you’ve never hurt me. You could never hurt me. You wouldn’t.”
(or, Eddie is a massage therapist, Buck is his client, and feelings are involved.)

Summary
“You look…tense.”
“Oh,” Eddie says, dumbly. He looks down at the clenched hands in his lap and tries his best to relax them. He doesn’t dare look up at Chimney again, just—keeps looking down, wriggling his fingers around like he’s testing out if he can still move them. “I—no. Everything’s okay.”
“Okay,” Chimney draws out. Eddie doesn’t need to be looking at him to know he’s sharing a look with Hen. “Your leg bouncing might trigger an earthquake, though.”
...or, Buck overcorrects. Eddie spirals.

Summary
Eddie meets Buck at a bar and takes him home. It's supposed to be a one-night stand, one reckless night that only exists to be forgotten. Buck's not supposed to be working at Eddie's new firehouse.
This is a canon divergent AU; some things change, some things stay the same, and Eddie gets there in the end, after a few memorable fuckups.
