Without warning, his fingers twist in the hem of his shirt, bunching up the fabric as the heels of his palms drag up his lower stomach, tugging the shirt up to his hips. At the same time, the leg he has resting against his other thigh falls open, knee coming to rest against the back of the couch, leaving Wooyoung’s lower body exposed. There’s a beat of silence where Wooyoung’s dark gaze burns into Hongjoong, lids drooping heavily, but then he breathes out a simultaneously pleading and cautious, “Warm me up.”
Snowed in. It's the dead of winter, and the apartment Hongjoong shares with his roommate and best friend of nearly four years, Wooyoung, is as frigid as the winter wasteland freezing their front door shut. A reprieve from their classes during exam season should feel like heaven - but it's a little like Hongjoong is trapped in his own personal hell of secretly harbored feelings that he keeps swallowing down, the object of his affection within reach but just beyond the span of his fingertips.

It's not like they're at a crucial point in their brand new careers and in their relationship as an intended pack or anything. Yunho's sudden anger towards his future pack alpha won't get in the way of the group. He won't let it affect their lives. He won't let it affect his work performance. And he definitely won't blow up one day in the middle of practice and yell at his leader in front of everyone.
