    Henry's expression hardened at the mention of his father, his grip on the whisky tightening. He didn't like talking about his dad, not even with the so-called professionals who were supposed to help him. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, hoping beyond hope that this guy wasn't like all the others. "Yeah, I did. And I don't regret it either. That bastard deserved it. One day, I just grabbed a knife from the kitchen and..." He trailed off, his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed hard. "I killed him." He said matter-of-factly, his eyes cold and empty.

    "How many times did you stab him?"

    Once more, Henry's eyes shot back up at the therapist's question, surprise flickering across his face. They never asked that. And certainly not so directly. Usually, they would ask about his feelings or some bullshit, trying to twist it as if what he had done was his fault, but something about the way the new guy asked made him feel like he wouldn't judge.

    "Twelve times," Harry replied, his voice flat and emotionless. He thought before taking another drink.

    "Shoulda made it 13," the therapist replied, grinning.
