I had perhaps a small idea of your affections after Scarif, but I didn’t believe you would be so bold. Though, with both of us grievously injured, I suppose you thought you had no choice but to be bold…”

    Then the Jedi traitor looked at the commander with what could only be described as devastatingly sincere heart-eyes as the tension melted from his jaw, replaced by a relaxed, almost dreamy look. “Oh, Cody… I love you, too…”

    Cody blinked once, then twice, then uttered a strangled, “Huh—ghhnnghh…?”

    Sam doesn't trust Lucifer, but after Metatron's spell casts all angels to Earth, including Lucifer and Michael, Michael drops an ultimatum that forces Lucifer to live in the Bunker with them. It's not easy. Sam is battling his own trauma as well as conflicting versions of what really happened in the Cage. Why is it the most dangerous being in the world is the only one who bothers to look beyond Sam The Hunter? Why is it that Lucifer, the literal devil, is the only creature that can make Sam feel really seen? A slow burn nurturing Samifer.
