Summary
Wednesday Addams had never been one to search for silver linings. She preferred to appreciate the terrible beauty of the storm cloud itself. It was ridiculous, in her opinion, that something dark must be gilded for it to be valued. Which is why, as she was launched through a third-story window by the claws of a Hyde, seconds away from a probably-fatal impact, she was surprised to find that she wasn’t taking the time to savor the fall. Instead, her mind had latched on to a single silver lining, and refused to let go.
At least Enid wasn’t in the building with me.

Eva rolled her good eye. “Sera, welcome to the diagnostics department . Our job is to figure out why the patient is dying,” she uttered in a sarcastic tone. “Falling off a cliff sounds a hell of a lot like a diagnosis to me.”
