they are all so found family its kind of sickening. perfect and misplaced and mismatched and loud and reckless and theyre all meant for each other. gerard thinking hes invisible and then he meets frank and he realizes that hes Exactly what he needs and he kind of completes him in a way. he makes him happy. makes him feel alive. frank fucks up because hes an ignorant asshole and goes weeks trying to respect gee's boundaries but leaves stupid trinkets on his windshield and leaves him notes and stands outside of his house because he Misses him. they make up of course and have a misfits prom with all their friends and its perfect and gee goes to school in new york and finds the note frank left him saying he loves him and cries and calls him saying he loves him too. im so fucked up over this i mean cmon man

seriously what the actual fucking fuck. ive never read a fic as Teenage-ly and Alive and Real as this one. also the longest frerard fic ive ever read, compared to unholyverse!!!!!! i got it down in two days and it has changed my entire perspective on about a million things. now when i think of frank iero, ill think of this fic, where hes a juvenile, shitty, rude, lying, stealing, catholic guilty gay 15 year old who is in love with gerard and fights against all parental figures in his life and jumps out of his window every night to go see gerard because he's in love with him. theyre codependent and messy and obsessive and weird and gerard dreams about werewolves and killing frank and frank dreams about gerard coming to his funeral and kissing his eyelids in a poignant way. it rains and storms and its the heat of summer and it makes me feel Alive. i want to open my window and run away and smoke cigarettes until my lungs give in and dance around in a thunderstorm. its 2:53 a.m. as im writing this and im so tired to the point that im delirious and im so awake i could shave my head and go swimming. i need to get this tattooed on my soul and eat it so its apart of me forever. this is deadass one of the greatest fics i have ever had the chance of reading and ill carry it with me for years. i love teenage love and shitty older gerard who is so weird and the town freak and frank who is just so jittery and rebellious that he talks shit to the priest and i love all the mentions of the flooding of hot summer storms. i want to die just so i can have the chance to reread this work. i feel alive, so alive.
