Summary
Mike pushed Harvey away while he was in prison because he had to. Because it hurt less than letting Harvey keep pretending he was something worth saving.
But even after he’s out, he can’t seem to stop pushing. Eventually, Harvey seems to get the message and starts to move on.
It isn’t until Mike finds out Harvey’s seeing someone else that he realizes how badly he’s fucked everything up, and that the thing he’s been pushing against all this time is the only thing he’s ever really wanted.

Summary
Harvey calls Mike a "bleeding heart, dripping all over my Tom Ford".
Everyone knows Harvey as a "heart of stone"Which makes being in love with Mike Ross deeply inconvenient —
especially when Harvey realises just how much time he’s already wasted pretending otherwise.Set sometime vaguely in season 2 post- "Asterisk"

Summary
Rationally, he knew Harvey never intended to hurt him. He didn't even intend for Mike to notice, he was sure. But reading Harvey came as easily as breathing for Mike, and thus so did the niggling shame for the things he enjoyed.
For the way his interests compared to Harvey's, all suave and elegant.
How Mike couldn't even look the part if he tried.
or:
When the firm hires a new associate with easy charm and looks to kill, Mike fears the worst. His secret relationship with Harvey is already tenuous enough without the likes of Liam Fleming (who's hobbies, conveniently include listening to jazz, boxing, and drinking expensive liquor) getting involved. With every passing day, Mike feels as if Harvey is slipping further and further away.

Summary
The car sitting outside the prison is dark and unfamiliar, but Mike knows it’s his.
(Gallo succeeds in stabbing Mike, and Mike ends up serving all two years. So after he's released, Harvey is naturally a little...possessive.)
