The ‘nothing’ they held between them made him more gullible to fall into the trap Andrew intentionally set up. Perhaps he liked the other because of his immaculate and effortless goalie skills. Exy could always be a factor in affecting his feelings, right?

A fire demon perked curiously at the unfamiliar melody, one eyebrow tilted upwards. His tail wagged side-to-side, and the fiery end shone brighter. He sauntered by the seaside at a slow pace. With each step, the sand crunched and crumpled below the soles of his feet. He breathed in the salty air.
“The salt, it seeps in through the pores of my open skin.”
Intrigued was the best word to describe the feeling, and his eyes gazed towards the direction of the tune — the sea. It was as if someone was calling for him. In the spur of the moment, he wanted to jump into the water to investigate. But perhaps that would make him impulsive and foolish.
“I wait on you inside the bottom of the deep blue sea.”
