Katsuki is always there to help him when his thoughts go down a rabbit hole of what-ifs, and he really appreciates him. But when no-one but him sees the horrors happening, is it really okay for him to have Katsuki there to help him? The shadows of his mind tells him no, but at the same time, those are the same shadows creating these illusionary horrors.
The later it gets, the further the shadows reach.
