If Hyuntak ever asked for a home, Baku would build one on the spot. He'd dig his hand into his chest, secure his fingers around his sternum, and rip. His heart visibly beating in its home now, he’d cup his sternum in his hands and present it to Hyuntak as if he was sacred. He’d find a way to keep the other nestled between his ribs, replacing the reason why he breathed, because Hyuntak was why he lived.
Baku didn’t exist without Hyuntak.

Thinking about it, Baku has always associated Gotak with good food(Pablo’s effect, was it called? The one where the dog hears the bell and rushes to its bowl). In accordance, he also thinks of warm, fuzzy feelings when he sees Gogo. The ones that arise when he sleeps over at Gotak’s and wakes up to rich miyeok-guk caressing his gullet, tender shrimp bursting with hot broth under eager teeth- not to mention Gotak’s mother’s loving smile, making up for his younger years spent without.
