He calls the restaurant where Van Pelt and Rigsby will have dinner. “Could you put us on the terrace? It’s more romantic.”
He watches her face in search of recognition, whether her loyal team members have ratted him out already.
Instead, her eyes flicker almost imperceptibly from his eyes to his mouth. Oh, Lisbon. She’s definitely not aware of the plan. She’s thinking of something else entirely.
He hangs up the phone, watches her unguarded expression. She says nothing. He decides to have a little fun.
“Don’t fret. I wouldn’t seduce you over a meal, that’d be very sophomoric.”
He doesn’t tell her he’d be too impatient to sit through a whole meal watching her mouth move as she eats, little moans escaping her. The way she’d lick her lips to catch the last remnants of the rich flavor of the dessert. Their heated arguments are all the foreplay he needs. He’d just drive her to the motel, rip her clothes off her body with his teeth while her nails dig into his curls.
