Everyone knows the story - or at least, they think they do.
Emma Swan was supposed to wait for Neal. She was supposed to be framed, arrested, and forced to give up her newborn son. Regina Mills, the mayor with a smile as sharp as glass, was supposed to adopt the baby. And years later, a determined little boy named Henry was supposed to find Emma and bring her to a strange town called Storybrooke.
But that version of events never happens.
Because this time, Emma doesn't wait.
Believing Neal has abandoned her, she leaves before he can plant the stolen watches in her car. No arrest. No prison. No adoption papers. Instead, Emma becomes a single mother - fierce, exhausted, and determined to give Henry the stability she never had. Their life is messy, nomadic, and stitched together with love and late-night promises.
For ten years, it's just Emma and Henry against the world.
And then everything changes.
A shift she can't explain. A pull she can't ignore. A sense that something - or someone - is calling her toward a destiny she never asked for. Emma doesn't know why her life suddenly feels like it's moving toward a story she doesn't remember choosing.
