Helly is soft where Helena is sharp. When Helly’s eyes inflate they shine, glistening in the harsh LEDs of the office. Helena’s eyes were narrow and searching, the light never quite managing to capture the same glow.
But Helena was funny, he remembers laughing around the campfire and stealing glances only to find her already looking at him. Searching, he thinks. He doesn’t know what she was hoping to find.

Summary
Over six years, 42 Hegel Place had changed. Mulder’s bachelor pad had been rearranged, reflecting his mercurial moods. Since his brain had been lobbed into by their enemies, Scully was spending more time there than ever; influencing its arrangement. It is where they both retreated at the end of a long week.
Their Friday movie-routine, however, becomes disrupted when Mulder starts “accidentally” leaving his adult films in the VHS player for Scully to find.
