They were doing something they hadn't done before: a group holiday. Unanimously, it was decided they'd go somewhere with perpetual sunshine. And frankly, Matt couldn't wait to feast his eyes on John and Smitty in less clothes than normal. Subtly, of course. He'd brought his darkest sunglasses for that exact purpose.

Smitty's finally got Matt back, which should be a victory, but it's only raised more questions. Why isn't he waking up? What happened to him?
Furious at the lack of answers, Smitty's forced to chase the only lead he has, in the only way he knows how to get results - with violence.
________Pezzy knows Smitty's out for blood. He just hopes he can make good on an old promise to John - to protect the people he loves from himself, in the event he loses control. With Droid firmly on his side, Pezzy’s going to do all he can to save the two pieces of John's past from Smitty's Furious wrath.

Summary
Pezzy’s just having a nice day when some angel decides to crash land into his backyard, and turn his whole world upside down.
Initially alarmed by it all, it's not long before Pezzy finds himself torn. He really wants to help Smitty find Matt, but he also knows the angel would use him in a heartbeat, if he knew of his true nature.
Or; How Grizzy, Pezzy and Droid met Puffer, and then Smitty, and how Grizzy and Pezzy learned that Droid wasn't as human as he claimed to be.
You don't need to read the other fics in the series to understand what's happening BTW!
