Dark hair spilling loose, long and wavy. Fine-boned features with a hint of elfin, like she belonged half to this world and half to a storybook. A bowed mouth shaped like it had secrets worth keeping, and wide doe eyes men braver than him might gladly fight and die for.

Summary
In the wake of World War I, Marinette and her crew have transitioned from spy work and raiding black markets to running an evening club and fighting organized crime on the side. She's determined to use her team to take down Gabriel Agreste, who's been getting away with criminal activity since the war began, merely because of his connections to the Mayor.
Marinette's quest for justice has absolutely nothing to do with a summer romance she had with Adrien Agreste before the war, before he was shipped off to England and never heard from again.
