Damian is aware of how much his father loves him. He never made the kid feel unwanted, never once looked at him without affection. Bruce held Damian like he was holding the world, and Damian knows his father would give up everything for him.
He also knows his father isn't happy.
Not when he had a look in his eyes that Damian only saw when Clark was around. Not when every time Clark visited, Damian would walk past his parents' room later that night and find his father at the edge of the bed, head in his hands and crying.
