Motionless in the darkness of his mind, Ken sat in suspended animation with arms held outward, waiting for her. Bound by wax and cold, he craved her warmth and the freeing heat she provided. All he could do was silently cry out for the match and the spark, the invitation of a kindling love. He would wait for as long as it took, for what was the wick without a flame?
Ignition sent quivers through his linen braids and lightning up his corded nerves. Though she began small, it took mere moments for Miss Ayase to draw forth the fuel from the waxen pillar of his devotion. She grew to enrobe him, the lick of her flame unraveling him with each flicker of their bated breaths. Towering over him, the roar of her fire threatened to consume him and he would burn away oh so willingly to see her shine so brightly in this darkest of places.

"cl.... clo... cl...cloud"The phone hangs up with a click, leaving Cloud shaking. He knows that voice. Like a buried memory brought to the surface, he recalls it with vivid clarity. From the cheerful cadence to the slight nasally tone.
It's Zack.
Zack, the man who died on the rain-spattered ground in front of him.

Summary
He couldn't remember the last time it had rained. Not in any recent memory. More urgently, he had no recollection of how he came to find himself in the middle of what he could only assume was a forest, far from the pollutive light of city streets with only the moon's tender glow to illuminate the land before him.
Ken wakes alone in an unfamiliar forest with no memory of how he got there. The night is eerily quiet, the world strangely empty, and a black, viscous substance keeps appearing whereever he goes. Worse still, when danger finally reveals itself, the powers he relies on refuse to answer.

“Your prince can’t marry Okarun!” Ayase says. “Because he’s, uh…he’s already taken!”
“By whom?” the alien ambassador asks.
“Me,” Ayase blurts out, jutting a thumb at herself, and Ken almost chokes on his own spit.
When Ken is chosen to be the bride of a Mantisian prince, the only thing that can save him from a life of underwater politics is convincing the world that he’s already engaged to Momo Ayase.
But it shouldn’t be too hard for Ken to convince everyone that they’re dating—after all, he’s already madly in love with her.

“Okarun, we… I have a problem. I don’t know what to do. I need your help.” She speaks with a warbly voice and a protective instinct within him rears up. Does he sound that pitiful when he’s worried? He sits up properly and rubs his eyes a little. Then he notices the bundled towel that she’s holding in her lap, and he thinks he might know what the problem is. He can’t help but feel sympathy for her.
“Miss Ayase, do you have an erection?”
Momo and Ken switch bodies. The only clue they have for fixing the problem is that they need to "spiritually commune", but something else needs attention first...
Canon divergent and post canon. They're 18.
