Go to school. Get good grades. Don’t be a massive disappointment to your mother. All those things were the mantra programmed into him since he was born. His twin sister was successful enough at following those simple house rules. Even his little sister on some level although she had started to branch out, and become her own person as of late. Honestly, he envied Amity. He didn’t know if he had that kind of courage to go up against his own mom’s house rules. His twin sister, Emira was literally like, his other half and he honestly didn’t know what he’d do without her support. Not many brothers actually had the support of their twin sisters—believe it or not— but Emira wasn’t like other sisters. Although, now that they were getting older, Edric was beginning to feel a rift slowly forming. Not one from a lack of a connection to his sisters, but one because he felt like he was starting to overcrowd their space. He wasn’t a kid anymore, either. Soon, he and Emira would have to choose what coven to commit to, and that was something that absolutely terrified him because big life altering decisions were not his forte and never would be.
