Summary
Clones. People, made and designed as a replica of a single person. Bred and raised for war. Trained with weapons and artillery. Bodies strengthened with endurance and perseverance.
Hearts of gold. Eyes bright and shining until horrors begin to snuff it out. Minds sharp and quick witted. Hands made for holding weapons, pulling the trigger again and again.
Crosshair grew up knowing all of this. He knew the weight of performing the perfect standard required of ‘defective’ clones. He pushed to be perfect, scowling at mark offs and nodding in satisfaction at full marks.

Crosshair feels the weight of being perfect and pushes through a headache. Hunter notices and makes him take a break.

Summary
Crosshair gets loopy when he's on strong painkillers, but he also becomes extremely clingy. After the sniper is injured and undergoes a field operation, Echo volunteers to stay with him. He gets an unusual amount of snuggle time with his snarkiest vod and a declaration he never would have expected.
I adore Bad Batch sibling fluff, and I shall continue to write it until my keyboard rusts out.
“Echo.”
The cyborg heard the voice calling his name quite clearly. He ignored it.
“Echo!” The voice hissed urgently. “I know you’re awake, di’kut. It’s my turn.”
“No,” Echo said flatly. “Go away.”
“Your time is up so it IS my turn.”
Echo sniffed and snuggled down even more, pulling the blanket tighter around him and his cuddle buddy. “You’re reading the chron wrong.”
Wrecker snorted. “I’m a kriffing detonation engineer, okay? I know timers! He’s only like this when he’s loopy and you know it!”
As if to confirm his brother’s statement, Crosshair shifted in his sedative-induced sleep and pressed closer to Echo.
“I’m not up to date on my Crosshair hugs yet,” Echo scoffed.
“That painkiller's gonna wear off and none of us will be, either,” the bruiser retorted.
