    In one universe, the Gods were blessed with children and never had to go without, using them as cannon fodder or simply taking their very presence for granted.

    In the other, the gods don't have such a blessing. Instead, having been cursed by Kronos for all their children to die before they can get to know them, before they can breathe- only a few surviving long enough to ascend to godhood. These Gods don't take their few surviving children for granted or send them on dangerous, life threatening quests. Surely they won't mind a few more?

    Percy wakes up in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere with no prior knowledge about being sent on yet another quest- not even the time limit or what he's supposed to do.

    The more he listened, the more he turned incredulous. He hadn't felt like this since Leo had told him of a Magic 8 Ball. If Apollo was getting the gist of it, they thought he was a child of, well, Apollo.

    We all know the story. Two separate universes, and a stark difference. Demigods. One devoid of them and filled with grief; the other tossing them away without knowing how lucky they are.

    Fate begins to make a change, sending over nine to the childless pantheon at the start. Only, it doesn't end at demigods. Minutes before the Sky Prince can be pulled away from the living to Elsiyum, its attention is brought to a god. Well, a former god.

    Aka: Misaligned Stars, but if Fate decided to intervene just a little later. The result? Apollo is dragged along for the ride. (Spoiler: He is not prepared for a weirdly affectionate version of his family...and himself.)
