Summary
“Can't get anything past you,” he said. Diana could hear the clink of glass against glass. “I’m a patient man, as you know, but between her and you I'm at the end of my fucking rope. So when you try to fuck me around by threatening to knock over that house of cards she calls a life, God, Diana, it just makes me want to do the thing myself and get it over with.”
A late-night phone call, and the madman theory of nuclear strategy as applied to your own admin.

Summary
Someone knocked on the office door. River flinched, less from surprise and more from a sudden sense of outside perspective; immediately, he began ranking the possible arrivals by the amount of shit they'd give him. For example, if Shirley saw him sitting on the floor like a stupid prick, he might have to kill her. On the other hand, he’d never known Shirley to knock.
“Tea,” said Catherine. “Oh—hello, River.”
River's patience is tested. Catherine intercedes. Lamb finds the whole thing entertaining.

Summary
The immediate problem is the loss of blood. If Robert wasn’t bleeding, she could solve the rest at her leisure—assuming his insensibility does not have some lasting effect on his mind, but she cannot think about that now—the bleeding will surely kill him first.

Summary
“Oh, Helly! We have plenty of options.” Cobel glances over her checklist casually—so casually, in fact, that even Helly can tell it's an affectation. “When we can,” she continues, “it's our duty to avoid causing any discomfort which might linger, and affect your non-work personage.”
Helly’s breath catches.
“That would just be unfair,” Cobel says.
Helly and Cobel discover one (1) shared goal. Helly/Cobel/unknowingly-triangulated-Helena sadism fic.

Summary
It's a little gauche, in her circles, to cite Kier so earnestly, without any wink at modernity. But the whole point of the tempers is that they can be tamed. No one is doomed by their basic nature, only by a lack of effort, or of guidance. She's done the work. She's practiced self-improvement. She's gone to therapy.
Helena Eagan is winning the war.
(Set during S1, written after S2E1, and likely to be contradicted very soon! But I had to write about my girl who has no problems ever.)

Summary
It’s at this point that I realise I don’t know where I am.
And it’s at this point that I realise: I don’t know who I am.When Ryland Grace wakes up in a jail cell and Eva Stratt finds herself in the middle of a spacewalk, neither of them are particularly clear on how they ended up there. Grace must do his best to reverse-engineer whatever phenomenon landed him in Stratt's body, while Stratt must work with Rocky to investigate Tau Ceti's Astrophage population.
Unfortunately, Grace is stuck on Earth.
And Stratt doesn't remember a thing.
