    Of all the things Clark thought he might find while snooping around one of Luthor's labs on the outskirts of Washington, he expected maybe some kryptonite. But what he found was something far more unexpected. A Kryptonian... or at least, what seemed like one. A newborn, tiny and vulnerable, crying helplessly, shaking him to his core.

    Bruce, exhausted after a long night battling the Riddler, returns to the Batcave hoping for some rest, only to be met with an unexpected sight: Superman sitting on the floor, cradling a crying infant. Normally, Bruce would keep his distance when it comes to children that aren’t his, but given the baby’s apparent Kryptonian origins, he can’t just walk away.

Others told of a woman with eyes that glowed like gold to lead sailors to their death. Some even spoke of a witch that cursed men and wreck their ships, taking all their treasures with it. When Clark’s catamaran is wrecked by a terrible storm, he learns that the stories were oh so far from true.
