Daniel moves back into the doorway and leans against the jamb as he waits for the bags to heat. He folds his arms and watches the beautifully strange creature on his couch. “So, babe, I gotta ask… what the hell are you wearing?”
Armand looks up at him, all wide-eyed and innocent as hell. Then he looks down at himself like he’s just noticed he’s wearing it.
“Oh, this? It’s called an Oodie.”
“An Oodie?” Daniel repeats. “Is that what they’re calling Snuggies these days?”
“No, Daniel,” Armand says. “An Oodie and a Snuggie are two different things. A Snuggie does not sufficiently cover one’s backside, an Oodie does.”
Daniel laughs. “Yeah, that’s uh… not exactly selling me on it, babe.”

Summary
It doesn’t make any sense, this nervousness. He’s been inside Louis’s apartment before. He wants Louis, has been wanting him. Still, it’s different now. After what he almost did, what he had been planning to do. After they’ve come to a new understanding, of sorts. Armand takes a shaky breath, stands there unmoving as Louis turns around. Waiting, though for what, he’s not quite sure. A call to action, his cue in a play he does not have the script for. It shouldn’t matter. He’s good at improvising
A slow smile spreads across Louis’s lips, small and almost hesitant. He tucks his hands into his pockets, tilts his head boyishly.
“You gonna stand there all night, or are you gonna come over here and kiss me?” Louis says, a teasing lilt to his voice.
Louis invites Armand in.
