    Era noite de sexta feira naquela farmácia apertada no Méier e estava quente, tão quente que às vezes Alberto se perguntava o por que diabos havia ido embora do Ceará. Pelo menos o inverno era mais forte no Rio de Janeiro, pensou, mas no momento estava abafado demais. Sua única sorte, ou talvez azar, era a chuva que caía. O pobre farmacêutico morava perto da UERJ e todos os ônibus que pudessem levá-lo para lá estavam parados no engarrafamento.

    Trancava os armários dos remédios enquanto revisava receitas que podia jogar fora e algumas que serviriam para encomendar remédios que estavam em falta. Todos os poucos funcionários já haviam ido embora, com excessão de um.

    — Se cê quiser, pode ir dormir lá em casa.

    O motoboy da farmácia, sempre com aquele sorrisinho safado estampado no rosto. Lá estava ele, provavelmente tinha por volta de 1,80 de altura, longos dreads azulados que batiam na cintura quando estavam soltos. O bigodinho e a barba "de cria", como costumava dizer. A pele naquele marrom bombom bem bronzeado, a blusa do Flamengo era de lei também, junto com a bermudinha tactel e um par de chinelos falsificados da Nike.
