It's been months since the war of Alvarez ended, but things are still complicated between Natsu and Lucy. They've been avoiding each other, Lucy tries to tamp down on her seemingly irrational fear after suffering from nightmares, reliving her worst memory. Natsu is still recovering from a severe injury, and feels less than human after he brutally murdered Dimaria. These two didn't realize that they just need eachother if they want to get past this inner conflict.
