Summary
Shaw hadn’t bothered asking how this would work. She’d hung up the phone, tracked the number to an abandoned garage on the East Side, and shot a couple of arms dealers who’d been looking to make it less abandoned. Maybe Root would have called that faith. Shaw called it an end to her boredom.

In the aftermath, Shaw builds a team and gets to work. It doesn't matter that one of her teammates is a robot god using a dead woman's voice.

Summary
Canon and post-canon fix-it. Shaw is left reeling after Root's death and it's all she can do just to make sense of it. Even after Samaritan is gone, she struggles to find a purpose. That is, until The Machine, now trying to find its own way, discovers something in the echoes of its predecessor's actions. Something that could change everything for Shaw.
