Summary
Addy was thirty, married, and living in 2016 when everything went wrong.
She wakes up in a hospital in King County in 2010, months before the outbreak, with no explanation, no husband, and no way to explain how she knows the men who come to see her: Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh.
Unable to warn anyone without sounding insane, Addy does the only thing she can : she stays, she helps, and she quietly prepares. As a nurse, as a friend, and as someone who knows what’s coming, she slips into their lives, forming bonds with Lori Grimes, Carl Grimes, and others long before the world falls apart.
This is a story about grief before loss, love after the end, and the fragile hope that sometimes, knowing the future doesn’t mean you can save it, but it might mean you can soften the fall.

Oh this is so well written and thought out. The idea of ending up in an apocalyptic TV show with a little time before it kicks off, knowing what's coming, but not being able to tell people without coming across as insane is so well thought out. The tension is built up beautifully and Addy, the OC, is amazing in her preparations and empathy.
