Summary

oh my god i'm rlly hoping this still updates, i love it so much. i usually stray away from saloonatics AU, but this one was so amazing i couldn't help but find myself deeply emersed in the story. i'm already suspecting that the red bandit is Tord and i'm so looking forward to see what the author does with that. <3

Summary
The cheerful tune died on Tom's lips. His grip on the harpoons tightened. More than a decade of living with Edd and Matt had honed his protective instincts to a razor's edge. And it was simple. Nobody messed with his friends or his space. At least not on his watch.
He dropped half the harpoons with a deliberate clatter and swung one up in a single fluid motion, leveling the sharp point at the intruder's back. Behind him, he sensed Edd stepping into the hallway.
"Who goes there?" Tom barked, his voice sharp and flat, being edged with warning. The metal point gleamed in the dim light, inches from the stranger's spine.
The figure froze for a moment.
Then, slowly, almost theatrically, the person's back straightened, and they turned around to face Tom.
The hallway light caught his face, and Tom's entire world tilted sideways.

i’m so excited to see where this fanfic will go! as i’m writing this, it’s only two chapters in, but i’m enjoying it so far! the characters are so close to canon & i can picture this being an actual eddisode. great job to the author, i really hope this doesn’t end up abandoned 😭
