The boy must have felt the stares, because before he could get into the Sheriffs police cruiser he snapped his head and looked over to where Derek and Laura were standing. Derek quickly avoided his gaze. Stiles didn’t deserve to get pulled back into this world, where things tried to kill him every couple of days.
Derek started to follow Laura when he heard it. “Sourwolf.”
He stopped for a second and then shook his head and kept walking. “Sourwolf, I know you can hear me.” This time he knew it wasn’t just wishful thinking. Laura kept sending him questioning looks, but Derek just kept on walking.
“Sourwolf. I swear to everything that is fucking holy in this god forsaken town. If you don’t stop ignoring me and come back here, I will shove so much fucking wolfsbane down your throat you will still taste it at Christmas.”

A witch transfers Derek and Stiles's (who is a badass FBI agent) mind back to their 2011 selves, so Derek saves Laura by going to Beacon Hills with her. Stiles sees them and instantly clocks on that this is a time-travelling Derek, so goes to talk to Derek, they make plans to change the future.
Good story, though it's more of a beginning than an actual story, but a couple things I dislike:
* The catalyst of the time travel: a witch having so casually that ability annoys me.
* The whole "Chris is a good guy, he and Peter were mates, starcrossed lovers separated by Talia and Gerard, so now he's suddenly ready to throw off the family he's been enabling his whole life" plot point infuriates me.
* The whole "True Alpha" shite in TW canon infuriates me. Therefore so does it in fanfic, especially the escalation of it: "True Alpha" and "True Spark", "True Mates", etc. I honestly dislike it.

A soft and slow burn story about the five times the Stilinskis saved the Hales over the years, and the one time they were saved right back.
