Details
Stiles's grandfather starts the investigation into the Hale fire, and after his death, Stiles, Noah, and the Order finish it. This is one of those lovely stories where there's a massive law enforcement hunt to round up and arrest hunters - which are portrayed as an insane murderous cult. And Peter gets healed earlier, while everyone who deserves it either gets arrested or dies resisting arrest.
This is also the story where kid!Stiles's friendship with Scott dies before it can fully take off, because his grandfather persuades him to not to neglect his school work just so he can be in the same grade as Scott, and consequently Scott isn't interested in a friendship anymore. So, Stiles gets accelerated homeschooling that sees him finishing high school at 17, and having more than halfway finished a college degree through online classes by that point.
This is also the story where the Nemeton gifts Peter with an alpha spark.
This is also the story where Jackson and Danny see Peter kill a feral omega, Jackson demands the bite, gets told to get his issues resolved before Peter will even consider it, and that leads to Jackson and his parents resolving their issues, Jackson breaking up with Lydia and getting with Danny, and no kanima when he does get the bite later.

Right, so I have some anger over S2 that still hasn’t been purged. This is another take on giving people what they deserve.
I’m very mean to Lydia, Allison, and Scott in this, so if that’s something you don’t like you should probably hit the ‘back’ button. Also, the opinions of the characters in this story do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the author.
Backstory to this AU:- After being set free from ‘Hotel Argent,’ Erica and Boyd went to Derek wanting him to lead them to vengeance. Derek told them no, so they decided to run away again. On the way out of BH they were met by an AU Alpha pack, who told them it was Derek or death. They slunk back to Derek, who had meanwhile been reunited with his sister.
- The werewolf members of the original Alpha Pack are dead, cornered by Julia Baccari at another location.
- Chris Argent wanted to take Allison to France so that she could heal and learn about her heritage, but she declined, telling him that she wanted to fix her life right there.
- Jackson’s parents haven’t sent him away.
White wolfsbane, a non-toxic variant that lowers the inhibitions of young werewolves, was taken from Jilly James’ EAD fic, React.

After the season 1 finale, Scott rants at Stiles about not wanting to be a wolf. Stiles takes his wolf, but makes Scott forget it was Stiles who did it.
Stiles also stops Derek from giving Jackson the bite, because he's not in the right frame of mind for it yet.
When he visits Lydia in the hospital, he sees the tether between Lydia and Peter, calls Order members and a Necromancer to help transfer it to himself.
Derek has thus an easier time as alpha, with Peter, the Stilinskis, and later Isaac, Jackson and Danny.
The Argents corner Stiles in a backroad and using Chris as a spokesperson try to recruit him. Stiles doesn't mince his words. A sweep through the station to find the hunter plants among the deputies ensues.
Meanwhile Scott finds out being an asthmatic human isn't geared towards keeping his Hunter girlfriend, so goes up to Stiles demanding the bite, and in the ensuing rant works himself up enough to have an attack and be hospitalized.
The Argents and darach Deaton attack and kidnap the pack, including Stiles, for a ritual sacrifice at the Nemeton. Stiles calls in recruitments - Order members. Cue shootout, dead hunters, Jackson injured.
Stiles gives both Allison and Chris a second chance by declaring they'll go to a proper Hunter family for retraining - despite the fact Allison proudly bragged about being blooded and being completely unrepentant. Never mind Chris's rap sheet. So that part feels like a Karma Houdini moment for the both of them.
But nevertheless, this story is pretty much Better Than Canon, like just about all the other parts of the Seneschal series.
