Summary
When Tim runs into a rogue magic-user on patrol, the family is left to care for a child version of him while he slowly returns to his normal age as the spell wears off. The close proximity and the chance to see different sides of Tim provide opportunities for reflection and reconciliation (and a lot of cute pictures).

When he finally gets the door open, there's a man standing in the middle of his room. Red Hood. He looks incongruous in Peter’s space, with his sturdy combat boots brushing against a dirty t-shirt that got left on the floor last night.
“Hey, that was pretty fast,” he says brightly. “I’d love to see how fast you can go when you aren’t taking detours to lose a tail first.”
OR
That one where Peter ends up in Gotham after the events of NWH and is determined to stay on his own so that nobody can get hurt, but the Bats refuse to get the memo.

“Thank you, sir.” Peter turned facing M.J. and Ned’s silhouettes that wobbled against the rising sun.
“Call me Stephen,” Doctor Strange said.
Peter smiled, “Thank you, Stephen.” The name felt odd coming out of his mouth.
The laugh was slight, barely even one. “Still feels weird.” Stephen smiled; it was small and didn’t cause the edges of his eyes to crease.
“I’ll see you around.”
The Magician stared at him, eyes mourning something already lost. “Good luck kid.”

Summary
In the aftermath of everything in Egypt, Alex Rider decides that he's done. MI6 still holds him on as tight a leash as they can, but he's had it. He just wants to get away from all the insanity. He runs. He makes it as far as Gotham city before he meets Tim Drake. Which, as anyone who knows Tim Drake could tell you, is the most sure-fire way to introduce more insanity into your life. Things get out of control more quickly than he's ready to admit.
