There must be something strange about Hawkins, though, because he's early, too early, and the only place he can get the suppressant he needs without a doctor's note is in the trailer park. It's the same place Steve needs to pick up special patches for the post-rut he's stuck in. They don't realize that Eddie is the cureall they need.

It’s something Eddie would have said teasingly when they were teens. Steve would have smacked him on the shoulder, affectionately calling him an asshole before being pulled into an apologetic kiss. But they are not teenagers anymore and Eddie’s voice lacks any of the warmth that used to be reserved for Steve. Now, it’s just loaded with resentment, which, yeah, is a fair reaction.

“We have several photos of… yeah, some guys, a… ok, is this underwear?” The hot, tall firefighter picks up a male, tiger print thong that is half burnt. The firefighter has taken his helmet off and Eddie is now being rewarded with a handsome face, squared jaw and perfect hair even if the sweat is sticking some strands to his forehead.
“Ah, yeah, Albert Taylor…” Eddie grimaced. “Christ, and he called me a freak, that dude I swear…”
The hot firefighter smiles and rolls his eyes, God knows what he’s thinking about, and Eddie can’t help but to think that he looks cute. Not his type, but cute nonetheless.
“A wristwatch that looks expensive…” He says after putting down the offensive thong, and it’s time for Chrissy to feel ashamed.
“Uh, yeah, he… He gave it back to me when we broke up, it was a Christmass present…” Her voice trembles just a bit.
“I’m sorry,” the hot firefighter says, and sighs. “I think I understand why you two thought that you needed to do this, but, really you didn’t need to add tequila to the mix…”
