Castorice opens her mouth, then closes it. She takes out a notebook and a pen to scribble something down, before turning back to him.
"…What exactly are we talking about here?"
"Mydei's stamina! Apparently, it's been harder for him to keep up with me without his immortality! Do you think I've been too rough with him?!"
Phainon is met with reminders that Mydei no longer has his flaw of immortality. The realisation is more significant than he had expected.

To most of Okhema, Phainon is known as the perfect Deliverer, the kind and selfless hero of all, without flaw.
Mydei knows better. And he finds that he actually prefers the Phainon only he gets to see; the clingy, overly competitive, annoying, at times uncertain and constrained by the great expectations placed on him, and the stupidly naturally charming, very much imperfect Phainon.
OR: Mydei being equal parts annoyed and endeared by Phainon's antics, also they fuck.
