Zachariah knew he was different at five. He knew he was cursed at six. Blood dripped down his nose as a damp cloth was pressed against his nose harshly. His mother stared at him with a frightened look in her eyes, "If you tell anyone about this you'll go to hell, dear." Her eyes had teared up towards the end of her sentence, her gaze glassy and unfocused. Her hands shook as she patted him on the head the same way you would a very loyal dog. I'm cursed. The fag burned away in his hand as he prodded it curiously with his finger. Ow.
