Tall, lean, and decorated in black, Hitoshi — the name written by hand in crude kanji on his nametag — is every bit the alt-punk stereotype she tries to avoid, and somehow all the more alluring for it. It helps that he's all dry wit and music knowledge, the only person aside from Jirou who can meet her bar-for-bar on Western Hot 100s with idle commentary suggesting his intellect isn't only bass-clef-deep.

Which is well and good, except—
On-screen a musical sting thunders, the fictitious sky cracking with a bolt of lightning. It sharpens Aizawa into proper focus, his body slumped into the couch and gaze half-lidded with fatigue, and Tenya swallows around a suddenly dry throat. Any farther and they'll be pressed flush together properly, practically snuggled into one another's sides with how closely the width of his couch forces them together.
—Tenya desires Aizawa-sensei carnally. So to speak.

“Bakugooooo!” It’s the only warning he gets before a body is landing on his own, Mina sprawled so dramatically across his back that his head dips from the impact. There’s a bite of real vitriol starting to sink its teeth in, but the moment he thinks to give into it—“You’re supposed to know everything! How did you ask Todoroki!?”
The world crumbles to a stop. It’s such an abrupt switch, the anger releasing all at once, that he’d blame it entirely for the way he falters – if not for the very real, very acute idea of distress that’s slowly settling in.
His mouth opens. Closes. Opens again, then closes hard enough that his teeth click shut. Mina’s gone silent and still behind him, but he has no possible way of knowing if it’s because she hasn’t realized how deeply she’s fucked up, or because she just doesn’t care.
What feels like an eternity later, he finally manages to croak: “What?”
