Summary
Life on a military base is not what John was expecting, especially not with the distance opening back up between him and Ghost. Turns out, adapting to a new relationship, while also adapting to a new lifestyle, and dealing with the trauma of an actual zombie apocalypse isn't easy. Especially when your partner has their own trauma to deal with.
Ghost feels the same, returning to the military has reopened old wounds. He's on edge, and agitated, and has no idea how to navigate this in the context of a new relationship.

Summary
“Clumsy thing. What would you do without me?”
“Probably have t’ crawl everywhere,” the Scot returned with a little grin. “Or worse, stay with my parents and the two youngest. Elise would probably try to have me be playing footie in the first week. Lass has no mercy.”
Ghost gave a quiet chuckle, amused at the thought of Soap trying to juggle crutches as he kicked a ball around with an overactive teenager. “I'm sure that you'd manage one way or another.”

Simon and Johnny are put on medical leave to recover from field injuries after a mission. Three months alone, stewing in domestic bliss... what could go wrong?

Summary
Ghost was a werewolf shifter of Task Force 1-4-1, and Johnny MacTavish was the man brought on board to hold his leash.
There were never any bindings placed on him. Never ropes, nor sedatives needed. No shock collars or cattle prods. It was just Soap.
Just Johnny and the way he had Simon, even as a towering monster with gnashing teeth and flexing claws, wrapped around his little finger.

Summary
Ghost doesn’t have anything against hybrids. He rarely ever thinks of ‘em in all honesty. They’re not allowed to enlist, and at a young age he chose to make the military his quasi-home.
He’s also not exactly out here championing for their equality either. Merely because Ghost isn’t in the business to know shit about anything that doesn’t pertain to himself these days.
Everything changes when he's walking home one night, and he finds an exhausted, sleeping hybrid curled against his front door.

Summary
John is all bare skin and brimming heat against him, pressed flush and unapologetic. His fingers curl back, gripping Simon’s thigh, nails digging in just enough to leave a mark against the soaked denim. A fucking mark, a claim that makes Simon's head spin. "The fuck are you doing, MacTavish?" Simon grits, voice rough, frayed at the seams.
The man hums, a slow, deliberate roll of his hips that sends a sharp bolt of pleasure down the length of Simon's spine. His breath stutters, a jagged inhale at the pressure against his cock.
"The fuck does it look like, Lieutenant?"
"Brat," Simon hisses, fingers curling into the man's damp mohawk, a swift tug as he pulls John's head back toward his chest, those blue eyes clouded with a wicked intent.
"Yeah?" His voice is rough, teasing, Simon’s grip bruising tight on his waist. "And what the fuck are you going to do about it?"

Simon Riley doesn’t believe in God, but when he looks into Johnny’s blue eyes, the color eddied away and fractured by pleasure, he knows he believes in something. Some divine intervention that brought this man to him.

Summary
It was a stupid, stupid desire to indulge in.
But he was bored, and Soap was this young thing, full of energy, a bright sparkle to his eyes and the best ass he’d seen in fatigues ever. God, the amount of times he’d had to turn away from Soap’s drills, too distracted to not pop a boner just watching him bend and squat and crawl with his ass in the air.

Summary
When a mission gone wrong leaves John "Soap" MacTavish in a coma in a foreign hospital, the language barrier turns Simon "Ghost" Riley into Soap's husband instead of his partner.
What begins as a bureaucratic mistake snowballs into a full-blown fake marriage as Ghost is forced keep up the ruse in order to deal with hospital staff, paperwork, and, to his horror, very real in-laws.
By the times Soap wakes up, he has acquired a very devoted husband the nurses swoon over and his parents have accepted into the family.
As Soap recovers, he and Ghost try to navigate their growing feelings as the line between pretend and fake starts to blur. By the time Soap is cleared for active duty again, they must figure out what their relationship really is… and whether the fake marriage everyone believes in might not be so fake after all.

Summary
Ghost falls first; the moment Soap steps onto the tarmac and saves him a seat. Soap arguably falls harder, hitting every awkward branch on the way down. After several instances of walking in on Ghost in various states of undress, he can no longer deny his attraction- or Ghost's.
But they can't act on their feelings, or on their inner alpha and omega instincts. Or at least... they shouldn't.

Summary
“I don’t want a quick fuck,” Soap said, eyes opening. “I need more and if that isn't possible, I don't want anything at all. I don’t want to need something I can’t have.”
“You better be careful about what you’re asking for,” Ghost said, his voice practically a growl.
Soap shuddered, knowing exactly what he was asking for, knew Ghost grew up having to fight viciously for everything that he had, how he didn’t know how to own things casually.

If he doesn’t think about it, it won’t intimidate him as much. It’s just an address. Some words that designate a spot outside Edinburgh where Soap lives. A home.
“You, uh-” Soap clears his throat, “You still okay with this?”
“I wouldn’t have agreed if I wasn’t.” Ghost simply states. He looks up at Soap, pausing for a moment. “Are you still alright with it?”

Summary
Instead, as he gnawed mindlessly on Ghost’s skin, what came out of his mouth was, “Spend your rut with me, Alpha.”
The hand in his hair pulled his head back further, almost painfully, and Soap’s mouth dropped open on a sudden moan. Ghost exhaled sharply through his nose.
“You on birth control, Johnny?” he got out between clenched teeth.
“Yes, sir,” Soap lied seamlessly.

Ghost doesn't know anything about werewolves, so understandably he is not overly excited about getting one in their unit especially if said werewolf is supposed to be his sergeant. Over time the skilled and competent Scot slowly changes Ghost's mind.
One day Ghost gets injured and Price sends him to heal at home. The problem is that Ghost treats his apartment as a safehouse - a place to survive, but not to live. Soap notices how Ghost suffers in silence and drags him to his home to take care of him.

Summary
Soap lacked a scent, and it made Ghost’s mind wander. What would it be like if he smelled straight from Soap’s neck? Would he be able to catch a whiff of pheromones, or a hint of his natural musk? If Ghost scented him, how long would it stick? What if Ghost came on his neck, would he—
He stopped tapping his pen. Ghost reeled at the abrupt shift in his thoughts, uncertain where the fuck that had come from.
Okay, sure. Soap was, objectively, attractive. With his long eyelashes, baby blues, pouty lips, high cheekbones, tight little ass—
Okay. Ghost had to calm down. It wasn’t appropriate to harbor these sorts of attractions for his subordinate.
But…what was the harm in fantasizing?

Soap, a beta, is used to being left in the dust by alphas who are just looking for a quick shag. But how can Ghost convince him that he wants more, that it's not just a fling?
