Summary
This cannot be real. James must be going mad because there is no possible way Sirius' date is Snape. On the other hand, Lily is holding his arm, so perhaps he doesn't want it to be a hallucination.
When Lily agreed to go on a double date with James, and Sirius and his mystery date, James was beyond thrilled. Said date being Snivellus was not something James saw coming, but it had to be a prank, right? Right? But Sirius is holding Snape's hand and gazing at him like he hung the bloody moon, and Snape almost looks like he's smiling.
