“'Do you ever miss home?'
Shane thinks about what ‘home’ means to Ilya. He’s not sure; he should ask. He knows Ilya must hate Moscow, but he wonders how much he misses it, too. He wonders if Ilya misses the culture, the language, the people.
Shane stares over the Las Vegas skyline. It’s pretty, he guesses, if you like that kinda thing, glittering signs mocking the stars, the flash and bang of cheap, dazzling sex. Shane has mixed feelings about Vegas.
Ilya breathes; it’s too shaky.
'Of course I do,' He says softly. 'But never, fuck no.'"Shane's learning Russian; along the way, he finds something tender Ilya thought he had left behind.

Duncan reaches up to cup Paul’s face; he brushes a thumb over Paul’s cheek. He tilts Paul’s face this way and that.
“You look like you never sleep.”
Paul can barely breathe. He doesn’t know what to say. He hasn't slept, not well, anyway. He wakes up early or in fits in the night, and he can never escape those strange dreams. They’re getting harder to shake during the day.
Duncan’s hand drops away.
“You can stay with me,” Duncan offers. “Anytime you need. Tonight, if you want. If it will help you sleep.”

Paul has trouble sleeping. More accurately, he has trouble with his dreams. Duncan Idaho notices something off with his boy, and he offers Paul a place to stay. Paul only has to take him up on it.

Hua Cheng hums, and he tilts his head back so Xie Lian can reach."

"Will looked up at Chiron nervously.
'Mr. Chiron? If I’m Greek and my dad’s a god, does that mean I can’t celebrate Christmas anymore?' He asked.
Chiron smiled.
'Of course you can celebrate Christmas, William. We celebrate all kinds of holidays here at Camp Half-Blood. Whatever is meaningful to you, culturally or religiously, you’re welcome to practice here,' He said.
Will smiled.
'Awesome!' He said. He pumped his fist a couple times. He turned and ran to catch up with Lee.
Lee looped an arm around Will’s shoulder.
'You’re gonna like staying year-round,' Lee promised. 'Cabin Seven gets really into the holidays.'

During Will's first year at Camp, he gets a little homesick during the holidays. Luckily, his siblings are there to help him feel at home. The Apollo kids introduce Will to their respective holidays and one all of Cabin Seven shares. -

Summary
Yukihiko is lying on Nico's futon, his long-abandoned book resting on his chest, watching as Nico keeps fiddling with a few lines of code. He's been hanging out here even more than usual lately – with the Ekiden behind them, Nico's been working on his assignments, finally motivated enough to finish his third year, and Yukihiko's decided to make sure he doesn't slack off. Plus, it's nice here: Yukihiko likes the peaceful, quiet company with the occasional bickering. It lets him focus on his books, and the soft clacking of the keys as Nico types is comforting.
Except Yukihiko finds that he reads less and less as his gaze keeps wandering from the pages to Nico’s broad back, his soft sweatshirts, his neck, his profile.
Yukihiko pines. Then he starts to think, maybe...
