Chuuya picked up after only two rings. They only ever called their husband at work if it was urgent. “Hey-” Chuuya answered, already sounding concerned. Dazai could hear muffled conversation and shuffling in the background. He was probably in a meeting, “Is everything okay?”
Dazai glanced up at Yuki, who had turned to face away from him pointedly, as stubborn as both her fathers.
“Uh-” He started, kicking a cushion into place. “Not exactly. Our daughter is currently on the ceiling, so-”

But as much as he wished he could, he wasn’t able to stop thinking about the fact that Dazai wouldn't do this for himself. Not willingly. Someone had to reach out, offer him support, and right now, Chuuya needed to be that person.
