Being a child of divorce, Soobin was raised in a co-parenting setup. Half of the week, she stayed with her mom, while the other half was spent with her dad.
Occasions were always celebrated twice—once with her mom, and once with her dad. Parent-child school activities were always attended by either her mom or her dad, but never both at the same time.
And that’s what set Soobin apart from her peers. Her classmates always had both their mom and dad with them, while she can only have one parent at a time.
And she ought to change that.
