Summary
Logically, it does make sense. The Phantom Thieves have been getting a lot of attention recently, good and bad reputation alike, and with the latter being fueled by the famous Detective Prince himself it shouldn’t really surprise Akira that a bunch of fans came up with… this kind of content.
(In which fans of the Detective Prince and fans of the Phantom Thieves unite in their desire to write an ungodly amount of fanfiction starring their favorite pairing. It doesn't go unnoticed, of course.)

Summary
“Akira had asked Ryuji about it once, and only received confusion in return.
“What? Nah, man, Captain Kidd isn’t really around until I get in the Metaverse. I can hear him in my head sometimes, though!” Ryuji had grinned around a mouthful of ramen, and Akira raised his gaze to see Captain Kidd roaring with silent laughter and reaching down as if to ruffle Ryuji’s hair.”
Akira can see his friends’ persona outside the Metaverse. Why does the boy at the TV station have two? And what is Arséne doing?

This month only! Cafe Alice x Featherman: Mystical Elemental collaboration! Get exclusive merch with every order!
The line for the cafe stretches far, far out into the streets of Akihabara. Ren is a patient person but the thought of standing in line to get merch for a series that they don’t even watch kind of sucks. Futaba owes them one big time.
They dig into their jeans pocket for their phone as they queue up, but the line is so packed that they accidentally elbow the person in front of them.
“Oh, sorry.”
“No problem-“
Wait. Wait. Ren knows that voice. And they definitely know the smell of that cologne. They look up.
Goro Akechi stares wide-eyed right back at them.

Summary
Akira, Ann, and Ryuji - as ordinary high school students as there could be, if a bit prone to acting out - had a plan. That plan involved exposing the corruption the faculty at Shujin had so willingly covered up, and that plan would be in jeopardy if anyone - especially Student Council Vice President Goro Akechi - found out about it.
Akira has his own plan to keep Akechi distracted, and he doesn't stop to consider the consequences of doing so until he's fallen in far deeper than he intended.

Summary
He’s thought about it before. If he just reached inside, dug his hands in and pulled on the fringes of the collective unconscious, he could bring Akechi back. Could even bring back Isshiki Wakaba, Okumura Kunikazu, and the rest of them if he felt so inclined. He knows he could even if he’s never tried, the power pulsing through his blood, making his fingers twitch. It wouldn’t even be particularly hard. And it wouldn’t have to stop there; if Yaldabaoth could manipulate the masses and Maruki could alter reality to his whim, Akira could do any of those things, and more.
(Turns out, shooting a couple gods in the face makes you something of a god yourself.)
