Summary
The extended rewrite of Gotcha! no one asked for and which I only did because somehow I currently can't work on anything else. The whole story, including Draco's and Severus's story arc. I experimented with new writing styles and plotting. This story contains a ton of plot the other one hasn't, but it ends the same. So if you're impatient, you can read that to find out how it ends.
Harry Potter can't escape Malfoy Manor with the others. Lucious Malfoy manages to hold him back at the very last moment. Voldemort finds out that Harry is a Horcrux.
Since he can't kill Harry now, he decides to break him instead, and Harry finds out exactly how deeply rotten and cruel Voldemort truly is.
The first 15 chapters describe Harry's captivity. This part of the story has the explicit parts where the hard warnings occur. It describes Draco slowly breaking from his core beliefs and Snape being brutally ripped into reality.
The following chapters describe the aftermath of the war and how the characters deal with it.
It has a slow burn romance for Severus (Not with Harry!) and Draco fighting a lifetime of bigotry in addition to Harry's realistic rape and trauma recovery.

It's the beginning of Severus Snape's fifth year, and he's determined to make a name for himself and gain favor with the Dark Lord. He's hungry for power, knowledge, and respect, and Severus is ready to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals. Between the letters he's been exchanging with the Dark Lord and studying the Dark Arts with his housemates, Severus anticipates an exciting year at school.
However, he couldn't anticipate Harry Potter, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, or how associating with the wizard-out-of-time would challenge everything he knew of himself and the world.

Harry Potter is a coddled, spoiled Heir Potter Black in a setting where he vanquished Lord Voldemort as a 15 months old baby, Lily and James Potter have never died, and Albus Dumbledore is not as important as he thinks he is.
Severus Snape is a genius, yes, but also a scared, insecure, abused, neglected, misunderstood, poor, bitter, snarky, jealous, broken man. At least, that's how everyone see him - everyone, but Harry Potter.

Slow Burn Snarry. Startujemy po śmierci Syriusza. Harry, pogrążony w depresji, zostaje "wciągnięty" do mugolskiej grupy wsparcia nastolatków, co staje się impulsem do buntu. Gdy znika z radaru knującego Dumbledore'a, jest tylko jedna osoba, którą ten wysyła na misję sprowadzenia Pottera na "właściwą" drogę.
Ten tekst powstaje od około... 20 lat. Pierwszy tom jest ukończony, drugi... może kiedyś dokończę? Średnio raz do roku coś napiszę. Przerzucam tekst tutaj by zmotywować się do pisania :D Może ktoś to jeszcze pamięta, a może ktoś ma sentyment do długich, "mhrocznych", angstowo przegiętych tekstów?
