Summary
Millennia ago, gods roamed the land. Dazai could care less about the whole thing, but the fact remains that his graduate thesis, and therefore his graduate degree, depend on him caring at least a little about the subject matter. But even with the deadline for topic submissions fast approaching, he still struggles to choose one. At least until he meets a peculiar redheaded researcher.
(Millennia ago, Chuuya was barely a god, until he met him. The boy he met turned into a man, into the most recognized generals of the time, even gaining acknowledgement from the godly pantheon. His power was Chuuya’s power, his followers were Chuuya’s followers. Until he died.
He’s back now, without any of the experiences that made him Chuuya’s Dazai, and Chuuya doesn’t know if he can do this again.)
Dazai takes the peculiar researcher in stride, if only to know more about him. But as he continues with his thesis, his research starts to become too real. He dreams of memories that are not his, and all his dreams feature one thing: a red the same shade of that researcher’s hair.

How did those gremlins even open the door? He’s almost certain they’re both too short for that. Xiao is in such deep shit. His baba is going to come home and give him that disappointed face, the one he brought out when Xiao snuck out and ended up in the hospital with a broken arm. Baizhu is going to Freak Out and put the whole house on edge.
Xiao is going to be grounded until he graduates.
If they find out. Which they won’t, because Xiao has a handle on this. Absolutely.
Xiao thought babysitting was supposed to be an easy gig. Tracking down Klee and Qiqi as they made their way through the city and avoiding his parents? Definitely not part of the plan.
