Summary
And while Simon may not be SAS anymore, he certainly hasn’t forgotten a damn thing. He’s on his feet in moments, the sheets thrown haphazardly out of the way. He hears a yelp, and yet Simon doesn’t hesitate, fingers curling around the neck of the man who is in his room, before they both slam back into the wall with a jarring force.
Startled blue eyes meet his, a muscular body molded to Simon’s own as he keeps the man pinned securely in place, “Who the fuck are you?”
“Sir!”
Simon grits his teeth, yet a quick assessment of the stranger shows a name tag nearly crushed between their chests —MacTavish.

Summary
Soap freezes as he hears that infamous piece of fabric slip away.
“'Thought you slept in that thing,” he tries to quip, but the strain in his voice is obvious.
“Shut up, Soap,” Ghost grumbles, slipping into bed behind him, “move over.”

Being the last ones to the safehouse means Soap and Ghost get last pick of the bedrooms, but thankfully they're more than used to being in close quarters with each other.

Summary
Five years after the world was ravaged by a zombie outbreak, what remains of humanity has learned how to survive in their new apocalypse. In their new normal, the dead wander the earth with insatiable appetites, families have been ripped apart, citizens have been abandoned, and the Reds thrive amongst the chaos.
When an unfortunate run-in with some Reds and an inconveniently-timed thunderstorm forces Soap to separate from Price and Gaz during their hunting session, he finds himself washed up on the doorstep of a wooden cabin. Only he's not alone.
Soap should probably be more worried about the masked stranger with a furrowed brow pointing an arrow at his chest, but there's something intriguing about him, secrets hidden deep within his heart and walls impenetrably built up. And even more shocking is the fact that the stranger allows him inside to take refuge.
What starts at that moment which neither realize is the beautiful unfolding of a love story between two people who were meant to find each other. It's about learning to trust again, the power of forgiveness, finding hope in the world that has ripped everything from you already, and falling into the arms of someone who will love you unconditionally.

Summary
“Just hang on, I’ve got you,” Ghost yelled as he dangled from the ship's deck, voice strained from the rush to catch Soap and their pack in time. With how much effort it was taking Ghost to hang onto everything, even the best trained soldier couldn’t hope to keep this up for more than a few minutes — and Ghost was the best.
If they lost the intel, this would all be for nothing. They’d lose the trail of the smuggling ring all together, undoing years of careful tracking and investigation in a way that they could never replace.
It was obvious what had to happen.
“You need to get that back to Price and Laswell,” Soap shouted over the roaring of the waves beneath him. “I can swim, Ghost, it’ll be fine. Just head for the helo and make this count, yeah?”
or
Soap knew that Ghost was it for him, and sometimes he suspected Ghost felt the same. Still, when given the option to sacrifice the mission or Soap's life, Ghost's choice might just surprise him.
