Summary
As the sun rose entirely unnoticed from behind the far off mountains, Zelda realised she was alone.
Truly alone.
Free to do as she wished.
And that, above all else, was what bothered her most.
She was supposed to want this— to rest.
Though, in all honesty, Zelda hasn't wanted for anything in a long time. She hasn't let herself want, wanting is all too similar to hoping, and all of it—her withering hope and frivolous wanting— had been placed in the calloused hands of her knight.
Now she didn't know what to do with herself.
And she was supposed to be resting.
Recovering.
Or, Zelda makes Link a new tunic.

Summary
“Must we do this?”
The forests of Hebra were beautiful. Snow blanketed the floor, twisting plants that tangled through the undergrowth poked up, dusted white and flowering faintly. Towering pine trees created a maze that closed them in, the same way Link was pressed in against her back. Birds chirped in a nearby thicket of branches, something scuttled. Link adjusted her arms, nimble fingers guiding her arm back, back, back.
“Really, I don't think it's necessary. I am quite proficient in archery,” Zelda insisted, gripping the bow tighter as she flexed her hands.
Or, Link gifts Zelda a new bow and Nothing Bad Happens Ever.
