Summary
After a dumb argument between Shauna and Mari turns a pep rally into a shit show, Jackie cajoles them into a sleepover to work their shit out for the sake of the team. Shauna just wants to put this behind them. Mari has other ideas—like how Shauna can help her practice blowjobs for her dumb boyfriend. But what happens at a sleepover doesn’t stay at the sleepover.
or: jackie probably wouldn’t have sentenced shauna and mari to a get-along-sleepover if she knew how far they’d take it. not even if she knew it it ended in them winning nationals.

Summary
"They call it breaking... when you train a horse for riding. You break it. Isn't that strange?" Lottie's gaze in the firelight was sharp, gleaming; Shauna felt it like a knife held to her throat. "Nothing wild can ever truly be tamed."
--
Shauna believes Lottie's loyalty will secure her crown. Lottie believes Shauna holds the key to a new way of connecting with the wilderness.
(Or, shauna and lottie both have a lot of issues that weird gay ritual wilderness sex will probably definitely make worse)
Story picks up after season 3.

Summary
"She’s different now, honey. There’s something—I don’t know what happened out there, but she’s not the same as you remember. Just don’t take it personally."
Deb’s words rattle around Jackie’s skull as she stands outside the hospital room. The plain wooden door seems to mock her. Why can’t she grab it? Why is she just standing there?
"She’s not the same as you remember."
Jackie's appendix ruptures the morning she's supposed to board the plane to Nationals. The flight never makes it to Seattle. Two years later, rescuers find the team alive, and Jackie thinks her nightmare is finally ending. Except the Shauna that returns to their hometown is not the same as the one who left.

Summary
There’s something to be said for the fact that she grew up with brothers, walled in on all sides by idiocy and testosterone, though the sharp edge that makes her body sing isn’t quite that. Mari imagines someone softer, slighter, someone who can fit well enough into her clothes that it’s worth a fight when they’re borrowed without permission. Someone who steals her favorite lip gloss and parades around with shiny lips and a quip (it looks better on me). Sharing a bedroom with someone like that, two lives split down the middle and stitched together, come hell or high water. They could talk about which girls in school they’d like to knock down a peg, which teachers should be fired or, at the very least, which teachers issue the cruelest tests and deserve slashed tires as retribution. She’s been surrounded by boys her entire life and as much as she appreciates the occasional Yellowjackets bonding sesh, it’s not exactly what she wants.
She wants something real.
Blood is thicker than water, or so they say.
“I’ve always wanted a sister.”
